It’s day 3
Originally I was going to pop on The Mimo app but when I got on Teamtalk TJ asked me if I was going to make definition lists today.
Having no idea those were, we chatted about the blog for a bit, and then I decided to look up definition lists.
But if I may go down a small rabbit hole for a moment
When I was writing those links above, I made one open in the same page, and the Teamtalk one open in a new tab. I had to look, up how to do that, and I began comparing link structure. It seems to really click to understand HTML at least, if you work your way out to in, it’e easier to understand. So start from the far left and far right ends of the code and just move inward. I can’t say as I got it completely, and I still need to figure out how to navigate this block style editor of WordPress so I can use my plugin to put code in here. But I suppose this is all a start.
okay, back to my point….
I am going to write a definition list of my friends. I studied it about an hour ago, so let’s see what I remember.
- Evan
- Awesome boyfriend!
- TJ
- The encourager, practical, all-around bad ass dude
- Leslie
- SOlid female friend, saying a lot as I don’t have many of those
- Krishna
- The resident money flexer, helpful, loyal
- James
- Best of friends for 18 years
- Lindsey
- adorable
- he who must not be named
- the paranoid one, which is why I will not name him, grumpy, loyal
- Kacey
- My best book buddy
That took about seven minutes to write. I made a couple mistakes, but only in regards to not putting the / at the end of my tags.
Upon editing this post, I also broke the end tag for definitions lists so the text after it and the headings also became apart of the list … oopse. haha.
The end
Final notes:
- If things look formatted strangely here, it’s just because I’m practicing.
- if you enjoy watching my progress, I thank you
- I’ll put up some reaction buttons soon, so you can react.
- Encouragement helps me keep going, but it is not everything
Bah, I keep breaking end tags. Post previews FTW!
practice
link to the wheel of Code is a fun thing to code when it takes you to the site, but even more fun when The Wheel of Code link opens in a new tab.
are fun too, when they actually do things.
- links
- take you to other places, like highways
- Buttons
- do things, especially when they’re red
Greetings! Very useful advice within this article! Its the little changes that make the most significant changes. Thanks a lot for sharing!
